We’re kicking off Dolly Parton Night at The Leavitt Theatre with one of Dolly’s most delightfully over-the-top big-screen performances: The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.
Dolly Parton and Burt Reynolds star in the 1982 musical comedy about the Chicken Ranch, a legendary Texas institution suddenly threatened by a crusading television reporter. It’s big hair, big personalities, country music, dancing, and Dolly at peak movie-star glamour... exactly the energy we want for a night celebrating an icon.
Admission to the movie is FREE, with a suggested donation of $5-$10 per person to help us keep community movie nights on the big screen at The Leavitt.
