About the event
"The Covered Wagon" (1923); Epic Western adventure and top hit of 1923. Two wagon caravans converge at what is now Kansas City, and combine for the westward push to Oregon. On their quest the pilgrims experience desert heat, mountain snow, hunger, and Indian attack. Join us for a summer season of movies and entertainment at the historic Leavitt Theatre. See great silent films with live music in a summer-only theater opened in 1925 and barely changed since.
