"Buster's Civil War-era masterpiece that tells the story of a Confederate railroad engineer whose train is hijacked by Northern spies. One of the great films of any era! Join us for a summer season of movies and entertainment at the historic Leavitt Theatre. See great silent films with live music in a summer-only theater opened in 1925 and barely changed since."

Jeff Rapsis is a writer/editor, educator, and also a composer and performer who specializes in creating live musical scores for silent film screenings. Jeff has curated a silent film & live music series just for The Leavitt Theatre! Come pair iconic films, live music & history with our award-winning food & beverage programs for a night out that you won't forget!Â
The performance starts at 6pm with a brief history lesson of the film & then a screening acompanied by live pianos music!Â
All tickets are General Admission. Come early to scoop your favorite spots!
