About the event
Christmas in July takes a turn after dark.
Join us for Die Hard on the big screen and decide one of cinema’s longest-running debates: Is it a Christmas movie or simply a great action movie?
When you arrive, cast your vote on our Christmas trees-versus-explosions voting board. We’ll reveal the final results before the movie begins.
Tropical Christmas attire, ugly Hawaiian shirts, and festive vacation looks are encouraged but never required.
Doors open at 7:30pm and the movie begins at 8:00pm
Admission is free, with an opportunity to donate in support of The Leavitt Theatre’s Free Community Movie Series. Donations help us continue making these screenings available throughout the season.

All movie tickets are free. Just enter “$0” at checkout to RSVP. You’re also welcome to leave a donation to support our free movie series... we truly appreciate it. All tickets are general admission and do not reserve seats. Seating is first come, first served, so we recommend arriving early to park, grab a drink, and settle into your spot. Full menu and table service are available at select tables, with bar and concessions available throughout the theatre.
